the point is DUDE, this is my tumblr, and i can post and support whatever i choose to post and support. you have no right to come and tell me to stop posting a gif photoset from a particular film. HELL you have no right to tell me to stop posting (if i did) 24,601 photosets from a particular film.

what planet are you from anyway? everyone has their own opinion of films and mine of Les Misérables happens to be a glowing one. if you absolutely hated it, a feeling you’re completely entitled to, i’m okay with that. but don’t go into my askbox, brandish your negativity around and demand i stop posting certain things.

OH Anon, it was a long long long time ago and i tend not to save psds…call it laziness or what you will. buuuuut this is what i can offer you:

i do the usual, lighter curve, brightness/contrast, hue/saturation, selective colour, colour balance fiddling. PLUS recently i’ve learnt to use gradient map → soft light→ reverse → x % …which i find makes a monumental difference to the final image. also, sometimes i’ll fiddle with the normal gradient colour like i’d twiddle my thumbs, occasionally when i’m bored, but not always.

if i ever find time to wholly dedicate my life to cap editing and making gifs and making money out of it so i can give up my university degree, i’ll start posting my psds. but til then - and you should know my parents will furiously pray that day never comes - this is all i can offer.
